Dosa
Ingredient's:
- White rice - 2 cups.
- Puffed rice(Poha)/Atukulu -1 cup.
- Chana Dal - 2 table spoons.
- Urad dal - 1/2 cup.
- Fenugreek seeds(Methi seeds) -1/2 teaspoon.
- Salt - 1 table spoon
- Baking soda -1 teaspoon
- Water -3 to 4 cups.
Procedure:
Wash urad dal ,chana dal,methi seeds, and rice with water,soak them with 5 cups of water for 6 to 8 hours.Now separately wash poha and soak just 1 hour before grinding .
Grind all together with 3 cups of water.
Now add Baking soda and Salt.Consistency should be not thick or watery,as shown in picture.
Ferment for overnight or the batter should increase double the quantity as shown in image.Mix the dosa batter well before making dosa.
Heat flat dosa pan rub oil ,Take 1 soup serving spoon of batter ,spread the batter evenly ,turning
spoon roundly on pan.
When it starts turning brown remove from pan and serve it with Ground nut Chutney and Sambar.
1. Spread Chutney Powder and Potato Masala curry fold it and serve hot with any chutney or can be eaten with out chutney.
2. Fold it like a cone with out stuffing and serve.
Masala Dosa is ready to be served Ginger tomato Chutney.
